Mud Spa
You leave Mae Hong Son to Pai direction, around 10 km after a sharp
left right curve is the intersection to Pha Sua Waterfall, Mud Spa and Mae Aw (Ban Rak Thai).
After around 1.5 km the road splits, to the left you will come to Nai Soi, Longneck woman village and
to the right to Pha Sua Waterfall and Mud Spa.
You pass a beautiful valley with small villages and ricefields. After around 8 km after a driving range
you turn right to the Mud Spa.
At the small creek there are hot springs ( 70 degrees) and mineral mud, which they conserve for cosmetic use.
The place offers several treatments, like a whole body treatment. First they put the mineral mud all over
your body, then you dry it outside. After that it will be washed away with warm water, then you get a peeling
with tamarind and be washed again.
They also offer a face treatment, as well as a thermal pool with warm water.
For a nice finish you should have a massage there.
That all takes place at a nice location in the middle of rice fields, a perfect day for relaxing.
