Originally this hut was built in 1990, when Louise mother came to Sang Tong Huts the first time.
It was renovated totally in 1999 and the bathroom was built new. In 2008 we modified it and
add a sitting area in front of big glass windows. Tucs Hut is located not far from the kitchen house and it was rebuilt or renovated in 1999, the bathroom and toilett were built totally new. After the renovation, the name was changed to Tucīs hut, name after a good friend from Pai "Tuc" who loves to come and stay at this hut. The major posts, the whole veranda, the teak floor and the new front glass doors are also totally renewed. The roof is made of the leaves of the Tungtrees, the walls are again done with wovened bamboos. |
|
In 2008 we took out some walls to connect the two huts to one and add a part of the terrace
to the room to have a sitting area. The front part is totally made of glas, so you have a good
view into the forrest. This hut is decorated with a victorian kingsize bed, down bedset and Mosquito net. Hanging shelf, Burmese lacquer ware and reading lights next are to the bed and the tone color is Tucs favorite color "orange". For the hot season you have a table fan. At the sitting area you have a small table and big sitting cushions. |

The bathroom is an extra hut next to the main hut, which you reach directly from the
room. It is arranged in western style. The floor is terra cotta, the wall we made with light grey tiles. The shower cabin has cold and hot water, a glas shelf for towels and your showerequipment as well as an european toilett. |
| Tucs hut has one of the nicest terrace of Sang Tong Huts. High up you will have a good view through the trees over the paddy fields and the valley. Big cushions invites you also to have a rest. A perfect place for an afternoon nap. |

Like Pauls hut Andy was named after Andy, an English guy
, who was the first guest in this hut.
This hut was buit in 1990 and had, at that time already, a private bathroom. |
|
|
In 1999 Andyīs hut was totally rebuilt, except the floor and the bamboowalls were
kept but every else is totally newly built. The northside (the entrance) has a big glass window pannel where you can have a good morning wake up view from your bed through the teak forest into the paddy fields and the montain rage. Furnished with a wooden bed, covered with bamboo, dove bedding, small table with chairs and shelves. |

After heavy rainfall the bathroom was washed away. So we decided to rebuilt
in on stabil cementpost with 2 steps into the room. We kept the same plan of the old bathroom, the walls are made from stones of our garden, the floor is covered with sanddstone tiles. There is a western styled toilett, shower with hot and cold water. The veranda is going around the hut, a part is covered by the roof, there is a banch where you can sit while it is raining.
