Paul’s Hut

In summer 2006 it was nessesary to pull down this 16 year old hut and built a new one at the same location. So we had a project for 2006
Because of its location right on the slope of the hill, we put the house on a cemented foundation, to make shure it will not get damaged by landslips.
This is also the reason why we made the wall at the hillside and the bathroom out of briggs. Beside that, we used again bamboo, teakwood and the leaves for the roof.
Paulīs Hut
Paulīs Hut As it gets more and more difficult to get teakwood, we used terracotta mixed with glass tiles for the floor of the room and the bathroom.
The hut is furnished with a kingsize bed, a small table with chairs and a shelf for your luggage. The windows are decorated with sliding blinds, made of bamboo and paper in Japanese style.
For the bathroom we picked up the ground-plan of Tree Tops again. Western toilett and hot water system are standard in Sang Tong Huts. Next to the basin you have a shelf with glass tops for the towels and your personel stuff.

Paulīs Hut
Paulīs Hut There is a door from the room to get out on the large teak-terrace. You have chairs and a table to sit down and enjoy the great view to the garden and the valley.

Honey Moon Hut

Honey Moon Hut Far away from the hustle and bustle Honeymoon hut is located down in the valley. From idea that our workers will live there, it has never been used and falled asleep.
When Babs came the second time to Sang Tong Huts, she wanted to stay in that hut and Toe made into their first honeymoon hut.

Honey Moon Hut is also a classic bamboo hut with Deang leaves for the roof, bamboo wovend walls and floor, we used teak for the main structure and for the big terrace. The bathroom is seperated from the sleeping room.
The kingsize mattress is laying in a wooden frame, with mosquito net. The hanging shelve and the board give enough space for your personal belongings. Big cushions, small Burmeseīlacquer ware tables with reading light make your stay comfortable. For hot days and night you have a table fan.
In front of the sleeping room under the roofed balcony, is also a fire place for a cool and romantic evening if you prefer to light a fire and you can hear running water from the near by stream. (natural water for farmers)
Walk two steps down and you will have a big terrace surrounded by the garden.

Honey Moon Hut The bathroom has a mosaic floor with western toilet, hot and cold water system. The Bathroom and the sleeping room are seperated entrance way.
This hut is good for people who want to be in peace and donīt mind a little trek, cause the way up is quite steep.

Another advantage of this hut is, that there are nearly no mosquitoes and we donīt know why.

2 persons over night 600 Baht.

Sorry, but there is no booking for this hut. It is reserved for our walking in guests
